This is so gorgeous, Jennifer. Truth spoken so beautifully, and something we can’t be reminded of too often. Reading it offered me the opportunity to let go even more. I’m actually going to save this for future reference. You’re a gem. 💥🎈💕

Beautifully said. I often think my version of this dance, and possibly yours too, was a bit of a slingshot. As a stage manager, I was tightly controlled and controlling of clocktime for myself and others. Then in the process of becoming an acupuncturist, I was flown into a world like the one you describe, of trusting divine time. One of the many nice things about that is I become immediately aware of old habits on the horizon and can release them because the contrast is so stark. Thanks for giving me this to think about as I start my day today.

Thank you. You are, of course, right on the mark when it comes to our shared slingshot. Back before smart phones were routinely surgically attached to our persons, I remember the day I decided not to wear my watch and the ensuing separation anxiety that decision engendered. I also remember being astonished by my acuity for knowing roughly what time it was even though I wasn't wearing it. I never wore a watch again and I use its absence as a reminder that I can choose the manner of time I'm keeping whenever I find myself veering off towards chronolandia...

Indeed, Jennifer—it's a real shift when we move past the self-imposed timelines and embrace the inherent wisdom that timing is everything; letting go of the need to control opens the door to that remarkable process of humanity: Spiritual Alchemy, where genuine success unfurls exactly as it should, often in a manner far more magnificent than our constrained expectations could permit.
